Hi! We are Keith and Monina (Mo)! We love to spend our time playing games, enjoying the outdoors, and hosting events. We are surrounded by love for each other, supportive family and friends, and are excited to become first-time parents through adoption. We would love to keep in touch with you at your comfort level and look forward to getting to know you!
About Us
We met through a friend and always had a spark. Six years ago, the timing was right, and we have been together since and married for almost 3 years. Our life is simple and happy. We laugh a lot, love each other and dote on our pup Stella. We are happiest when our house is filled with friends, family, and food. We host BBQs, dinners, and football Sundays at our house. We stay active taking long walks, hikes, and playing golf and pickleball. We also play board games, watch movies, and love traveling to see family or explore new places. We are thrilled to become first-time parents through adoption and are excited to share our joys with our child!
About Keith (By Mo)
Keith is the funniest person I know and is incredibly loving, kind, and patient. He is strong, steady, and when it counts, will find the lighter side of things. Almost anything we do, from exploring new places or even doing our taxes ends up being fun with him. Friends and family of all ages gravitate to Keith because he makes them feel at ease and makes them laugh. He makes sure those close to him are cared for, seen, and heard. Keith is athletic, particularly loves golf, and plays as often as he can. Keith is also a great baker! He bakes amazing cookies, bread, and a wonderful Pavlova! I know that Keith will be a wonderfully devoted dad to our child and nurture him or her with love and encouragement while definitely making them laugh a lot.
About Mo (By Keith)
Mo is the love of my life. She has a sweet, confident, curious soul with the ability to put people at ease. Although she doesn’t live near her immediate family she is very close to them and maintains a great network of close friends. She has FIVE godchildren and sends them personalized care packages when she can’t be there for special occasions or just because she is thinking of them. Mo is fiercely loyal to her people. She enjoys yoga, hiking, or trying new workouts with friends. I know she is excited to travel and learn about different cultures, try new foods, share her love of staying active, and her obsession with the Chicago Bears with our future child. Although our path to parenthood hasn’t been straightforward, Mo met every challenge with grace and determination. Her ability to love deeply, her strength and thoughtfulness will make Mo a fantastic mother and I’m delighted to begin this journey together.
Our Family
A lot of our strength and joy comes from our families. We have a loving group of friends who we consider family as well. We really value the time we spend with our loved ones. Keith’s parents live close by, and we’re learning pickleball together, but it’s mostly an excuse for a good meal. We also have family throughout the US, so there are a lot of video calls and travel for visits. Keith is the oldest of 3, and Mo is the 3rd of 4 kids. We are both close with our siblings and love all our nieces and nephews! Our families are excited we have started our adoption journey and are ready to shower our child with lots of love.
Our Home in California
We live in a suburb just outside of the big city in a cute 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a large yard and garden. Our yard is our favorite part of the house; it’s great for entertaining all year long. We have citrus trees and planter boxes where we’ve grown tomatoes, thyme, basil, and peppers. In the summer, we have fun swimming at the neighborhood pool with friends and their kids. We also love exploring the cultural activities (parks, museums, zoos, etc.) of San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley, or the farms of the North Bay or beaches along the coast. We love our location! Mountains, the ocean, and bustling cities are all just a drive away!
Our Promise
Our promise to your child is to love unconditionally. We will always provide a home where they can feel loved, supported, and nurtured. We will continue to learn how to best support them as they grow to help them reach their full potential. We will encourage curiosity in them to learn from life’s experiences and have the confidence to grow into their true self, knowing we will always be in their corner.
Our promise to you is that your child will grow up knowing our deep love for them as well as yours. You will forever be a part of our family, and we will honor you and the trust you have placed in us. We promise to respect how open you wish to keep our relationship.

| Family Tradition | We host movie day with themed snacks the day after Thanksgiving. Friends and family usually stop by or stay the whole day! | My siblings and I are huge Bears fans. Every season, we take turns getting Bears shirts for the family. At least we get a shirt even if the Bears season doesn't go well! |

| Why we are adopting | We’ve had adoption in our hearts for a long time and feel that our paths lead to each other and to adoption. Mo has wanted to adopt since she was a child, and Keith was inspired to pursue adoption after working for a foster agency. | |

| Typical Weekend With Us | A typical weekend with us usually involves meeting with friends at a family-friendly spot or at someone's backyard. We also enjoy the outdoors and often hike nearby trails with Stella. If we are not walking or hiking, we are playing pickleball with family or golf with friends. At some point in the weekend, we tend to our yard and garden. In the summer, our lemon tree produces tons of lemons so we give a lot away, and bake or cook with the rest. We have a family dinner with Keith's parents a few times a month too. | |
| Fun Facts | • Keith's parents lived abroad when they had Keith. When Keith was a baby, they visited Manila, Philippines. Mo and her family lived in the Philippines until she was 7. We were in the same city at some point in our infancy! • We make our own ice cream. Every season, we come up with a new flavor. This Summer, we made Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble. • We got married in Keith's parents' backyard. We had to cancel our original wedding and celebration plans due to the pandemic, but we were determined and had a lovely, intimate ceremony on our original wedding date. | |
