A Letter from Josiah & Paige
We are a loving Christian couple excited to become first-time parents and share with our child the joys of the great outdoors and playing games. Growing up in large families, we both have always wanted a family of our own. We have both been led to adopt and hope you enjoy learning more about us and getting to know us.
We enjoy going on walks together, long hikes, playing games, and watching Netflix. We like to start our Saturdays with homemade pancakes and coffee before working around the house, relaxing, or doing something in town.
We love taking annual trips out west to spend time with Paige’s family and younger siblings by hanging out in the cabin, climbing on rocks, and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. We are excited to visit these amazing places again with our child and look forward to sharing our hobbies and interests with them.
Josiah loves to design things and do art using paint, legos, or the computer. He also buys and resells Legos online. He works as a Plastic Injection Engineer making car parts and enjoys solving problems. His job is steady and gives him time for family in the evenings. He is steady, calm, and a hard worker. He is also considerate, thoughtful, and good at listening. Whenever I need to talk things out he is there for me. I think all these qualities will make him a great dad. Josiah looks forward to sharing his hobbies with our kids and his love of learning.
Paige likes to always be busy, whether that is cleaning, cooking, or reading a good book on the porch swing. She likes to stay active by taking walks, hiking, kayaking, or climbing rocks out west. She is also very organized and loves country music. Growing up she was always busy helping to take care of her many younger siblings. She also keeps busy nowadays by helping her friends with their housework and babysitting – all of which will help her be a great mom someday. Paige is kind, thoughtful, and loves to serve in our church during the week. She is excited to become a stay-at-home mom and looks forward to reading stories to our child, baking with and for them, and watching them learn and grow.
In the spring of 2017, we bought our house in the country. It is open and spacious with a long porch and detached garage. Our yard is large and open with plenty of room for playing, entertaining, and relaxing. We also have a fire pit for cookouts that we made together. Our neighbors have many fenced in animals that we can see out our window such as horses, donkeys, and goats. Our house has a long driveway that is set back from a low traffic country road and is a short drive from town.
Both of us have large families that live in the country. Josiah’s family, including his 3 sisters, live close by so we get to see them often. We go to the same church and regularly have Pizza and Movie Night with them on Fridays. Paige’s parents were divorced when she was very young, and both remarried. Both sides live near each other about 7 hours away in Iowa and we visit them every couple of months, and sometimes they come here to visit us. Paige has one older brother and seven younger siblings: five brothers and three sisters.
Adoption is already a part of our family and has always had a place in our hearts. Paige’s younger brother and a cousin were both adopted and so were a couple of Josiah’s cousins. Both of our families are very supportive and excited to welcome a new member to the family.
We promise that your child will be surrounded by love, family, and support in all that they do. We will give them a great home life, and prepare them for the adulthood by teaching them God’s love as well as the importance of serving others and doing what you love. They will have lots of family and friends to share joy and laughter with. We look forward to sharing our hobbies and interests and exploring God’s beautiful world with them.
We hope to stay in touch with you and share letters, pictures, and visits as they grow.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
Josiah likes to do digital design, play the cello, and sell Legos. Paige likes to take walks, read, cook/bake, and organize. She also likes to go to friends houses to help them with their kids and housework. We both enjoy taking walks together, hiking, watching t.v., playing games, and hanging out with family. One of our favorite things is going out West with Paige's dad's side of the family every year for vacation.
We are both Christians who have grown up in Christian homes and have been taught the importance of faith. We regularly pray, read daily devotions from the Bible, and attend church.
About Our Home and lives
Our daily routines are fairly consistent. We have breakfast and devotions together before Josiah leaves for work.
Josiah's family always gets together for most holidays and close family birthdays. Paige's family goes out west for a big trip every year. They like to hike, climb, hang out at the cabin, and ride horses. Some states they have visited are Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, and Montana. We both like how close our families are and want to share the love and fun with a child. We have found a good balance between spending time with each side of the family for things like Christmas and Thanksgiving - our families' biggest holidays.
Why we want to adopt...
Paige has always been called to adopt. After not being able to get pregnant for a few years and talking and praying about it, we decided to move forward with adoption. We both look forward to having kids and teaching them about God and His Word. Josiah looks forward to building Legos and teaching digital design and how to draw. Paige looks forward to reading stories to them, dressing them in adorable outfits, baking with and for them, and watching them learn and grow.
